When we start a business, it's because we have a great idea. But then we have to talk about the great idea to get people excited about it.
Any of these sound like you / your team?
In my experience, the easiest thing is to lower the bar. Stop worrying that every single post needs to be this perfect viral sensation or that one piece of content is going to drive all your traffic. Content is (usually) a longer game, so although strategic tactics are important, consistency is key. The longer you wait, the longer you exist with no peripheral content pushing people towards your landing page.
Share your work! Share the behind-the-scenes. Show the people and the challenges you're overcoming, what are you learning, what solutions have you found?
The more you create and track, the better your formula will be for how your audience resonates.
To use Ali Abdaal's yardstick, always ask yourself: "Could this piece help one person in my audience?" If the answer is yes, go for it.
I'd love to know what your tactics for content are, and whether there are other concerns stopping you from getting content out into the world? Let's chat!
Great advice! We often spend too long trying to get things perfect.
Thank you Kate!

Thank you so much for this comment, it's really insightful! Can I ask whether you have any specific tactics to make time for writing, and whether you always knew it was important or what pushed you to start?
