Exploring the way people approach idea creation process in teams.
Please, share your latest story. I'll start.
In the team we set up 10-15 minutes of inclusive silent idea writing. This happens without any critic. We are trying to have all the insane ideas/facts/opinions listed.
After that we have a voting for each idea by custom categories. We avoid picking up "the best" since it's very subjective. Instead we are trying to pick the best in three categories: customer satisfaction, ease of implementation, cost of execution.
At the end we have a shortlist of ideas to discuss and not to ramble during the Zoom meeting. This technique saves us a lot of time and gets all the ideas to be heard.
So we went on trying to build the tool for us, following this approach. Now I wonder if it could be scalable to other teams, helping them be more productive and spend less time on meetings.
