How do you make your landingpage? Pure HTML? ReactJS? NextJS?

I build most of my landingpages in ReactJS. Making a minor mofidication like adding a link involves opening Visual Studio Code, modify .js file, build+preview, then push to github which will trigger Netlify hosting.
(If I move to another computer, then there are more steps involved to pull it, npm install...etc)

I sometimes feel its unncessary long process. I feel static pages should all be in Plain HTML+ JS and to modify it should be like open a online editor, preview and publish. Just 3 steps.

That is why I built https://versoly.com/, seeing developers spend time reinventing the wheel with SPA makes me sad.

Setup NPM, install 10 plugins for SEO, setup git, find a headless CMS and the list goes on and on (of course i'm biased).

You are not biased.. I feel that frustration. I don't know how and when this complex long path started, but almost everyone is following it. It is such a waste of time and it is frustrating too.
