How do you overcome the situation where you have a great idea but no money?

I know it’s stressful And hope many of you in it sometime. I was once in this situation and didn’t have any guidance. All I did was to wait and kept saying myself that my time will come soon. Finally, I got the resources after few years and worked on my idea.
