How do you protect/moderate your domains from malicious user-generated content?

Hi

As far as I know your complete domain could be banned if you have one subdomain with malicious user content posted on social media, I was wondering which are the preventive measures for this.

What measures do you take to protect your domains from being banned/blacklisted on social media based on the content (images, hate speech, virus with img extensions) from malicious users?

Have you ever been banned for this reason?

Thank you!

The easiest thing to do is to put everything in a moderation queue which doesn't get posted until human reviewed. Depending on your site/app's size, you can have user moderators (who you trust) verify things and let them get posted. Or you could pay someone to do it.

Of course, that doesn't work at scale, when there's too much content. But it works for smaller sized sites/apps.
