How many sites do you have?

I mean, how many sites which you care about / which are active.

I'm doing a research regarding pricing plans for uptime monitoring service.
I thought that most indie hackers have like 1-2 sites, but looks like it's not truth.

Here are mine, if somebody is curious:

    https://themouseless.dev
    https://thedevdash.com
    https://matthieucneude.com

Domain with "the<something>" are cheaper 🤣

Depends how you define "have". As in ones that are directly linked to me or my work - 2 or 3. Sites that I manage (hosting, domains, etc) for friends and family. Dozens.

Well, actually I'm gathering information of how many sites people will need to monitor for uptime. Like sites which they care about

      1. 1

In that case, practically none. 3/3 of my personal are hosted on github, the rest are on gcp and gcp's monitoring is sufficient for me.

this right there means probably you need to define the question better otherwise you might be gathering the wrong user feedback @Akcium

  3. 2

I have one which is a landing page hosted and maintained completely by me (I use a Bootstrap template) and two hosted on Carrd.

But in total it'd be three? :)

  4. 2

Hey, i have 3-5 sites, because create many MVP :)

I think IH users excluded, normal people would have 1-2 sites maximum, if they have any, so go for that in your pricing :). Then 3-6 (you can put that as an added offer, since it is surprisingly number one), but I assure you most of your users would use the 1-2 sites package.

I voted for the important sites

5 that have made it on to the project list https://harveytoro.com/projects
Probably another 2 or 3 that haven't made it on to the list yet.

Interesting aside how many sites do you have compared to domains you own 🤔

    Too many! Not enough!

    castrio.me - personal website

    formico.io - freelancing website

indieworldwide.co - online indie hacker meetup group

bookfirstact.com - learn about the music industry

goodworkcafes.com - find good cafes to work out of

feie-test.com - save money on taxes

Fortunately most of my hosting costs are virtually zero because I use JAMStack + free static hosts like Netlify.

The exception is bookfirstact.com which is currently being migrated from Squarespace to a more affordable option.

Dozens. Projects that I have tried.

For those of you with more than a few websites, how do you mange the ongoing maintenance (if any) for each site? Do you work on one site for a day and then switch to another, do you multitask?

I bought many domains, most of them are not in active. I only care 1-2 for the uptime
