How to Launch (Again & Again) & why?

Hello Hackers,
Today i will be talking about product launch.

If you launch your the product and if it didn't go well, then that is not over.
You can launch again, iterate again, iterate fast.

I am sharing these tips and information that I have learned last month in Startup School(YC) and I think to share this with you guys because sharing is growing.

So, let's talk about why you should launch again?

  1. A/B test your pitch.
  2. See, how users respond to your product. (By launching to different channels)
  3. Launching to different audiences: Are you talking to the right users?

Types of launch:

  1. SILENT LAUNCH:
    You need:
    a) Domain Name
    b) Company Name
    c) Short Description
    d) Contact
    e) CTA
    Ex: https://socialdeck.io/ (My product)

  2. Friends & Family: Do quickly, ASAP after MVP, and do it for just a short period of time, they may not be your actual user.

  3. Strangers: It depends on your application, you are building. Go to the market and try with users in a real-time scenario, like if you need this kind of service. You could do it on the internet, too. Ex: Packers & Movers, etc

  4. Online Communities:
    a) Product Hunt
    b) Hacker News
    c) Reddit
    d) Elpha
    e) Facebook Groups
    f) Twitter
    g) Startup School
    h) Alumni Groups

  5. Request Access Launch

  6. Social Media/ Blogger

  7. Pre-Order

  8. New feature/product launch

Now, how to post on online communities:

  1. Introduce your company, if there.
  2. What you are building?
  3. Who you are building it for?
  4. Why?
  5. Interesting Insights?

Do you want to add points, please go ahead.
