Hi everyone, I am co-founder of Curatora.io - A B2B product that lets people easily discover and curate niche relevant content to share on social media.
Currently, we've been running a closed beta to get feedback and improve our product. Now looking to scale marketing and push customers in, targeting social media agencies, individual social media managers, and brands.
I would like to know from you guys how would you go about it?
I always say to start with LinkedIn because you can automate outreach with platforms like Phantom Buster whilst working on other areas.
That being said, focus on your benefits because right now it looks like another curation tool. What sets you apart from all of the others? Give me a one-liner intro into how much time will be saved, the quality of the content etc or something that will make me say 'Yes I need this!". I assume you created this product because of inefficiencies with the other products.
Yes, we are working on our one-liner. How does this sound?
"Schedule one week of engaging social media posts in less than 30 minutes."
Why agencies? why not just reach out directly to brands?
We did the initial research and spoke to a lot of brands, small businesses, and agencies.
And we found that small businesses mostly work with agencies or freelance social media managers. And it's a bit difficult to approach in the beginning. So based on our research we concluded that agencies are most relevant and easily approachable.
What do you think about this?
Sure, I think this definitely is valuable. The main reason I said that you could reach out to brands directly is based on my learning working with a client that was trying to reach out to agencies that would then sell to brands. This not only increased his sales cycle but also reduced his control in the sale.
