How to start with backend as mobile dev? It is not that tough.

As far as I know, Appwrite is currently in beta. Is it stable at this stage? I’m using Firebase currently, but Appwrite seems to be a good alternative.

AppWrite has much less functionalities than Firebase, but to be honest most them is not needed as much. The core functionality like database, authorization, custom functions etc. are there already. There was some problem with functions, and invoking them took like 5s (it is a lot), but they already fixed it. What is more - you have direct contact with creators on discord.

And AppWrite is much cheaper as it is self-hosted and installation is just one command on docker.
