How to tell if you're not charging enough

https://medium.com/swlh/5-signs-your-prices-are-too-low-7e8bb218a322

It's ridiculously easy to undersell and undercharge yourself. It's hard to have the chutzpah of the Retool team to just keep charging higher and higher until you get a no. However, if you want to grow and stay happy with what you love doing, you need to periodically evaluate your pricing strategy.

In her Medium post, Ashley Morgan writes five questions. If you answer yes to any of them, you're not charging enough:

  1. Are you overbooked but not meeting financial targets?
  2. Do you resent your customer after you start working?
  3. Do people agree on your price fast?
  4. Would you need a second income source if an unexpected expense came up?
  5. Are you in need of help but can’t afford to hire someone?

What's been your experience? Do you have questions to add to the list?
