How to unsuspend my Twitter account?

The Financial Times will be publishing an interview of me in next Thursday’s printed edition, and I expect (and hope) a lot of people wanting to follow me on Twitter.

My Twitter account @alanbrande got suspended several months ago for supposed “Impersonation”.

I tried appealing several times and all I got were automated responses saying my account won’t be restored.

Could you please help or point me in the right direction? I don’t know what else to do.

Congrats on the interview. If you've already done an appeal and need it by Thursday, I would cut my loses and create a new Twitter handle. Contract the reporter and give them your new handle.

      Thanks!!

Yeah, I totally agree with you and that's what I ended up doing: https://twitter.com/alan_brande

Sorry to hear you got suspended.

Maybe @tbll75 can give you some tips as they went through a similar thing recently.

Unfortunately, I will not be a big help :/
I got the situation unlocked because I know someone internally who was able to speed up the appeal process.
There are a few subreddit where you could find more information, try here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Twitter/

I know is a lot to ask, but any chance you can mention my situation to your contact? I'm desperate. 😬
