Should I add "buy me a coffee" CTA on my SaaS site
Buy Me A Coffee button sends signals that you don't make enough revenue to sustain development / running the business. And if a buyer is looking for competitors and thinking of upgrading to a paid plan, it will be a huge red flag.
If you have free users, there's your chance to learn more about them and see what's keeping them from going paid. This prompt could be "book an onboarding call" instead, that would be more valuable than a $3 donation.
Churn is a Feature, Not a Bug by @8bit
Churn is an important part of the process in early-stage product development as you walk your way (slowly) toward product-market fit. Churn is absolutely necessary so that you can learn about what resonates with your customers and take that learning into actionable insights and data that will drive you product design process!
How we tripled user activation rate on our SaaS product by @khalidh
Activation rate before email campaign = 20%
FigPii created an email sequence of six different emails each for active and inactive users (that didn't install code). After sending this campaign for the last two weeks, they are seeing a consistent open rate of 83% and 48% open rate for active and inactive users respectively. And their activation rate increased to 62%. (SaaS makers, give it a read)
What's the difference between Facebook Shops vs. the shops they had before? by @jikajika
With the existing technology, 'Page Shops', the products really just appear as if they were another type of posted content within the businesses page. With 'Shops', the merchant can customize a full e-commerce experience, where the customer can browse all products and receive a similar experience to the one they would have on the merchant's website, without having to actually leave Facebook.
The same goes for Instagram. Currently most shopping is done through tagged posts, and most of these involve click outs. With Shops on Instagram, there will be a designated area where followers can explore all of the merchant's products and make a purchase directly within Instagram, with click outs only being a fallback option.
