How would you get your first 10 paying users?

I have been working and excited to launch Panda - looking for my first few customers

I've tried Reddit, slack groups, Betalist etc and no luck on first customer and someone told me to try IH so here I am.

I like to build products in markets that have lots of sharks because the market is already validated and in my opinion the more sharks the better it means there is enough fish for all.

More about Panda

Panda allows you to add a range of different types of notifications (pop-ups) to your webpages. Each of our notifications helps you guide your visitors to where you want them: engaging with the right parts of your site, signing up, buying your products, upgrading, upselling, etc.

Notifications are based on real-time data, displaying recent sales, stock levels, delivery details, reviews, etc. You can also create your own messages to improve UX. The messages in Notifications are based on a variety of psychological triggers, such as Social Proof, FOMO, and Urgency.

Physical businesses make use of such triggers all the time. It’s why restaurants put customers at the window seats and why bars often make sure there is a queue outside the entrance. With Panda, you can use similar strategies online.

Panda is for any website (any CMS) and for any industry: eCommerce, SaaS, travel, blogging, lead generation etc. We did our best to make it as easy as possible for anyone to add a range of different notifications to their website — without IT know-how. We currently offer 24+ widgets/notifications you can leverage

🙏 I'd massively appreciate it if you could share your thoughts on how I can et my first few customers. Please feel free to comment, make suggestions, and ask away. ready to answer your questions! :)

I think there are a couple of things that needs to be fixed on the website:
1/ The top links like "how it works" and "pricing" seems to link to the boilerplate stuff from your original template. It's quite confusing.
2/ I don't see any usage of your own product on your website. If you are not eating your own dogfood, why is that? There doesn't seem to be any exit-intent popup with email collection or social proof.

As for getting the first 10 customers, there are so many ways.
I think I would take the following approach:

    _Every week Start
Identify 10-20 small SaaS businesses and reach out to the founder for a feedback/demo call.
If they engage you either get valuable feedback or a customer.
    _Every Week End

I would also write at least one larger piece for the website on the problem your product solves and different ways it can be solved. Do the usual things and identify key search phrases to connect to.

Asking people here on Indiehackers to give feedback on the product might also be highly valuable.

Their are lots of means lots of social proof tools nowadays their for i think you not getting that much traction I saw socilprofo on codecanyon that make this more business normal like with their script everyone is making something like you so marketing this is little hard.

Why not try appsumo for some money and then use it for Google promotion if you sold directly lifetime deal or at lowest price then may be you get some traction.

You're right - but the ecom, Saas, travel and blogging industries are so large the market can have many players.

Might create multiple landing pages with messaging towards those specific markets than a generic one.

hmm I think lowest price is the winner here, might drop it down to £10 a month

The best way here is direct reach to ecom owners and give a detailed brief of your product
