How would you spend $1000 on marketing your saas?

I am currently working on LinkDeck (https://www.linkdeck.me/), a portfolio site that updates automatically.

Our initial users are really loving the idea and I want to show more people what we have built.

So, share with us, if you have $1000 to spend on marketing you saas today, how would you maximize your ROI?

    Pay for results.

Invest in an affiliate program, reward your affiliates handsomely.

Can't agree more with what @kylekrzeski: "If you aren't sure what you're doing, paid ads is probably a waste of money.".

I was a little confused about what LinkDeck does until I scrolled down and saw the last example, where you compared your product to https://linktr.ee/, where you clearly stood out more.

I would suggest you make this point at the top of your page. Here's a case study for your reference where this founder position his analytics tool to his biggest competitor that many people are aware of, and highlight how different you are to them without wasting more time trying to educate the audience.

Lastly, if you are looking to get more eyeballs on LinkDeck, you can check out common strategies of launching on PH, content and email marketing etc case studies over at GrowthHunt.co, where I curates and summarised growth strategies for other founders to learn and replicate from.

    Cheers & all the best!

If you aren't sure what you're doing, paid ads is probably a waste of money. We've found a lot of success at Removaly through content marketing so you can either hustle and write a bunch of articles yourself to save yourself $1,000 or you can outsource that and focus your time elsewhere.

IMO though, most marketing can be done by hustling in the early stages.

Thanks for sharing Kyle! So you are saying start content marketing and SEO early on? How long did it take for you to see some results for Removaly?
