Why?

That extra nudge of accountability to achieve even a small step on your IH journey each day.

To join in:

01 Share your epic (a big chunk of work with a meaty objective) you'd like to complete by the end of May.

02 Share what you accomplished yesterday.

03 Share what you commit to accomplishing today.

04 Comment on at least one fellow hacker's progress and give them an IH Point for their check in.

Optional:

05 Share your Work In Progress to underscore your accomplishments.

Then tune in the tomorrow to share how you did on your own tasks!

Dayummmm. Two days and counting! Love it!

Are you doing a content drip via email? What tool are you using?

      1. 1

I'm on Mailchimp, it's early days on there for me, but I like it overall.
My longer term drip goals are two-pronged:

        1. I'm aiming to extend the onboarding email chain for community owners to something between 4-6 months of weekly emails.
        2. I intend to produce a steadyish stream of blog posts around community building on the platform and to actually build a community there so I can make sure I'm not too disconnected from the user. Might podcast for that actually...been dying to do something with mydailyscrum which I recently picked up and really like as a domain name.

      aw thanks :)
I find that setting things like that as priorities prevents me from neglecting parts of my life.
Doing so also has two import and beneficial side effects

      1. it forces me to prioritize other activities and let low value stuff fall by the wayside
      2. it forces me to deliver technically complete work that I maybe don't feel 100% comfortable with, which I find is a superior way to iterate on most things
      1. 1

Agreed on all counts! Plus, if you're not living life, you've no idea what needs building!
