I thought I'd share this feat here since I see a lot of people saying their posts got deleted on Reddit. It seems luck is on my side because my posts never seem to get deleted. Yesterday I broke 3 of the rules on r/web_design, yet my post got over 900 upvotes and stayed in the top spot for a day.
I think it might be because usually I post a screenshot or a little video and say I made this, what do you think? Or maybe people just really like my product and let it slide. Either way, I'm happy :)

Thanks for sharing with us.
You are lucky!
What's rules you're broke? I think reddit broken totally like other old social networks.
For example, my (and other posts) was deleted from /r/startups when I tried to find someone (their said about moderator sabotage later).
I think I broke these three rules of that particular subreddit:
I'm not completely sure what their definition of #4 is, but I assume I broke it.
Thanks for explanation
Good job! I will definitely download it :) I'm curious can you share of much traffic you got from this?
Sure, for some reason my analytics doesn't really track referrals from reddit properly. So I will just give you the totals for Friday and Saturday. 1087 visits but with a rather low conversion rate surprisingly, just 6.3%. Usually it's around 13%.
It's to do with the reddit mobile app not setting a referrer for some reason. You should use UTM tracking.
Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the tip.
Awesome! how did you make the video?
I used https://getkap.co/
It's a cool video and the link doesn't directly go to your website even though the title is a red flag. Sometimes you strike luck with the reddit mods and sometimes you don't.
Awesome work! Smart putting the link in the comments instead of in the main post.
Too bad there's not a way to A/B test posts like this on Reddit. That would be pretty cool.
Yeah A/B testing is hard but as you post more, the more you get a feel for what works. A short video showing some interesting action in the app seems to work very well.

Yeah that makes sense actually. I try to make my posts feel as not spammy as I can.
