Last time I posted and asked if people would be interested in my crazy, bizarre startup story where I was hired as a startup CEO, worked really hard to find product/market fit for 18 months, and burned one million of funding.
After getting the initial, critical feedback, I debated with myself and decided to just do it - writing out the story to share all the hard lessons I learned in the last 18 months with other first-time founders.
I looked at this as my own reflection more than trying to write a bestseller book. But of course, it is a lot of work to write so I do want to see if there is value in what I do (that's why I opt for a "donate" model).
This eBook is called "How to Fail as a First-Time Founder" because I made so many mistakes a first-time founder could make.
I outlined a total of 14 chapters, and so far chapter 1 is ready, and I will continue to work on it. I'm not a professional writer, but I'm trying my best to make it good. And you can see I adopted the style from Trends.vc to include key lessons, haters, and links section in each chapter.
If you'd like to read and share your views: https://www.thefirsttimefounder.com/
If you have any feedback for me, I'd love to hear and learn. Thanks all.
Hi @jessicaleo, good read and I signed up. Looking forward to reading the next chapter.
yes. Thanks for sharing. Read through it, interesting take reading first hand experience. Best of luck with your next endeavor! I liked the pricing model on the new book!
I'm glad you liked it - the key turning point is in Chapter 2. Hopefully I can get it out asap.
Looking forward to it.
