Last year, I got an unexpected call.
It was the Founder of one of Silicon Valley's biggest unicorns EVER.
His company had just gone public, and he was eager to start over again with a new startup.
We talked. He told me about his new product idea. It was, well...questionable. I even told him so myself 😄
Anyways, we designed a survey and presented his concept to 800 consumers.
Sure enough, we got a resounding "NO!"
He laughed, thanked me for the help, then abandoned the idea. He ended up launching something completely different.
Moral of the story?
Even the best of us sometimes have bad ideas! Best to learn that BEFORE going to market -- not after.
(I wish I could tell you who this was. Maybe he'll see this post and reveal himself 😏)
