I got to build my dream project, it took 2 years.

So a few years ago I embarked on creating membership software to create affordable enterprise grade software for any organisation.

Most of my clients were spending a fortune on running software for websites, memberships, training and education. The licensing, hosting and maintenance costs were astronomical and I wanted to solve common problems without using any expensive 3rd party frameworks, so I built my own cloud enterprise platform that only relies on some fairly inexpensive hosting costs (Azure).

This is my "dream" project.

I have a solid development background so I've been able to build what can only be described as an epic piece of software, all independently and funded by myself and there are no investors.

The software can be used as the foundation for any organisation to keep info on staff/users and suppliers security and easily and I've built in tools that everyone from a small independent startup to a $300 million a year association would need. Over the last 12 months the list of features just keep growing.

Its been a real whirlwind to get to here but a real feeling of accomplishment.

Although its still a journey its exciting to work on your own project and actually have some real users using it.

I still feel like its true purpose is still 'going to happen' but in the meantime people are using 10% of what it was designed for and are happy with it.

If you have been putting off building your dream project, start it today!
