I just launched CREATORLIST 🎉 And I am craving feedback!

CREATORLIST simplified
Stay on-top of the latest in your industry.
Know who the thought leaders are.
Forget about where they are.

What's the problem here?
Every career requires lifelong learning. And every industry has people at the top of their game who lead the charge of driving us forward. But it is impossible to keep up with their informative content. And it takes years to gather a list of creators you love.

What's the solution?
A decentralized public directory of the world's most prolific creators and all their unique channels with an emphasis on updating you the second they create something new.

Consume selectively.

Never miss a thing.

Check out the super early (soft) launch on creatorlist.so. You can already upvote your favorite creators and even more importantly, you can submit anyone you think should be on there!

AND PLEASE SOME FEEDBACK!

  1. What do you think of this? Is this relevant to you?
  2. Am I missing anything? What can I improve?
  3. What (prolific) creators can you suggest for it?

Really looking forward to your invaluable thoughts! I am also doing a #30daybuildinpublic challenge on Twitter, where I will update you on my progress. Join me here @itsjulianpaul 🚀

Cheers from BCN.

Hey Julian, I like the idea but it's a one time use or something to search.
Once I find the creator there is no use for your website.
I would look at the alternatives in the market.

I would put you head to head with Twitter for discovery of creators.
Right now Twitter is providing more value:

    • Content from creators
    • Direct interaction with them
    • Latest updates about the creators from their own mouth
moreover twitter algo is such it keeps giving you more people to follow!

I hope my point makes sense.

Hey Curio! Thanks a lot for your thoughts :) I really appreciate your comments.

The current version is super early. I am only testing whether people are interested in finding 'prolific' creators, who by definition are not only on Twitter. Prolific means these creators also do newsletters, blogs, youtube videos, and even podcasts.

Whereas I agree with you that Twitter does suggest good people to follow (with the ability to interact with them directly, it's only surface level) and it is virtually impossible to stay up to date with all of their tweets (which aren't always value). Imagine you follow 500-1000 people.

Allow me to shed some light on the end goal of CREATORLIST. I am currently creating an (instant) content-notification system of prolific creators in their specific industries. And this I am testing with the current CTA and weekly newsletter as is (whilst building the system in the meantime).

I think your points make total sense and I might not be communicating the above clear enough, but I do believe there is a purpose/need for this product, as content shock is a real thing.

      What are your thoughts?

        Thanks for the details Julian.

I do see where you are going with this, I think the positioning could be that's it's a hub of all content from your favorite content creators rather than a discovery platform for new creators/influencers.

You should explore making it more exclusive like access to only superfans of these influencers or paid subscriptions
