I just sold my second Tiny Website! Here's how I did it, and how much I sold it for.

I always want to sell colorsandfonts.com but I feel so attached.....
    Is my first ever project..

    Congrats!

      Looks amazing.

If you ever change your mind and decide to sell it, I would love to feature it on AcquireBase.

Thanks so much Michael. That's a beautiful website, and a beautiful domain name, I don't blame you for feeling so attached!

Hey Ben, thank you for the story. I am building a tiny project as well. I also hope to cobble them into something bigger one day!

      That's awesome! Tiny Projects assemble!

Interesting @tinyprojects Subscribed to your newsletter and looking forward to your next project and your experience!
BTW, How you build your newsletter audience?

    1. 1

Earlyname newsletter growth was pretty much organic through people finding it on the Tiny Projects blog. It did get featured once in a Tik Tok video though that bought in a large amount of subs: https://www.tiktok.com/@marketingwithsam/video/6888776649077181701?lang=en&is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v3

Got it, But growing a newsletter for your first ever blog/product is complicated. How did u overcome that?

  5. 2

    Congrats Ben!

I too am in the "tiny" space and even worded my new company "Tiny Ventures" - your tiny projects was part of the inspiration for that.

Are you still doing your newsletter? I thought I was a subscriber but haven't seen updates for a while.

    1. 1

Thanks so much Fabian. That's so cool! What are you plans for Tiny Ventures?

I shoot out an email whenever I post something new on my blog - which is every month of so. Have you not been receiving them at all? Worrying haha.

      1. 2

I re-subscribed, as I wasn't sure any more. Keep it coming!

Congrats! I love how you always include the transcript of the conversation so that we can see how it actually goes 😄

Thanks so much Catico! There were ~15 emails exchanged during that negotiation back and forth. Obviously didn't include all the information exchanged, but it's still fun to zoom out and see the price negotiations go back and forth :D

Great story and thank you for sharing your journey.

I worked on my passion project https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mrnofap-block-porn-sites/cpigeaemojebhijbmencldogableknlf?hl=en&authuser=2

But never made a profit on it, I wonder if anyone would purchase it and make it profitable

Cheers Anil! It was priced cheaper than similar MRR products on Microacquire, but I think it's fair as it wasn't a true "leave it and print money" SaaS. It still required some input each month to find social networks.

I'm semi-active on twitter - but otherwise not really too fussed about building a big online presence.
