I spent a year building a task app I wouldn't forget about
I used to end work defeated by daily distractions and lack of progress made when I'd find my todo list with none of my planned work started.
My name is Ricky Bahner and I am the founder of Buoy, the always up task list that keeps you on track.
These days it's pretty difficult to do ... work and our workday rarely goes to plan. Priorities are constantly shifting, calendars change in a blink of an eye, focus time gets disrespected by colleagues, and reminders are easily snoozed into a backlog hell. All of which contribute to the following being too common:
- Our task lists ending up buried under other windows and desk clutter
- Distractions leaving us forgetful of where we left off
- Our task lists requiring duplication from various sources
Our time and attention are being contested among apps, people, events, etc. Sometimes there isn't much we can do about this. But we can do is make the most of our time when we have it.
