I want to have your opinion on this topic. Would you like to daily read a detailed explanation of a startup, probably early stage, that makes cool products? I would also like to do this on Medium, so any advice on which publication to post my writings is also appreciated.
Any suggestions?
Thank you so much!
Great idea if it's done well! Sounds exhausting, though. And as a reader, I'd prefer one longer-form piece per week.
I agree with this. As a reader 1 per week is good, maybe 2x per week at most.
why not use substack?
or why not use indie hackers as a product blog or even their new-ish newsletter feature?
@rosiesherry has a really great example of one that she's growing:
Yes, or Ghost is another option.
A better way to validate would be to write a post on IH as a test then see how it resonates. It's easy for people to say 'yes, it's a good idea', but then not actually be interested with what you end up writing. Lots of writing is about style and ability to communicate well.
I think this is a great idea Mert. I'm trying to launch my own blog on startups, computer science/code and VC/Angel Investors.
mhmm.. give it a shot i say. see what works.
I wouldn't want to read one a day - I'd quickly get tired of that. I might read about three of them in a weekly digest though. Less intrusive and more to read when I've got time. Less work for you, too.
