🙏🏽 I would appreciate some design feedback

Hey guys!

I would appreciate some design feedback if you have a moment.
I'm not a designer, but I try my best with a little bit I know to craft a good looking design for our product (PM and collaboration tool).

The user will be able to choose between the two layouts depending on their needs.
With my co-founder, we've already acted on the first layout. 👍
For the second one, we have some doubts about choosing the navigation menu icons colors. 🤔

Here are the two :

Design 1

Design 1

Design 2

Design 1

It's probably a case of preference, and it's very relative. Which one do you prefer? and why?

Thanks a lot 🙏🏽

Second. Give color only on hover.

        Thanks for your feedback @Miggs

This is not a bad idea. Thanks for your feedback @jfals82

Yep I also prefer the second one with color changing on hovering. So keep the colours from Design 1 but only make them visible on hover.
