If you have more than 100 tweets, your twitter might need some cleaning

I've been working for a while now on an app that finds and deletes embarrassing tweets that you have made in the passed. Its called SocialSweep.co (still haven't launched yet. also this is my first IndieHacker post!)

When I was messing around with our "rate your Twitter" feature, plugging in random twitter accounts I follow, I was very surprised at how many people have a ton of rough language and embarrassing tweets on their profile. Im sure some are older tweets from back when they were younger, but those could still come back and hurt you, especially with "cancel culture" being so big now-a-days.

Prime example of this is when Kevin Hart got booted from hosting the Oscars because of some tweets he made way back in 2014... So it definitely does happen. Also, a lot of these people i'm sure wouldn't want their employer seeing those ugly tweets either.

What do you think about needing to clean up your twitter account?
Do you think it is needed for a lot of people?

P.S. comment below and i'll add you to our early users list, so you can use Social Sweep free of charge when it launches ;)

P.S.S. If you are curious about that "Rate your Twitter" feature I was talking about, just go to socialsweep.co and scroll down a little to try it out for your own profile.
