I'm building Accountably in public.

Hello fellow IndieHackers!

I finally decided to take the plunge.

Accountably is an outcomes-first to-do manager with the following qualities:

  1. Simple to use
  2. Flexible
  3. Motivating to use
  4. Gives you a sense of the big picture.

Simple to use:
Accountably should be welcoming to all users. The user should feel at ease the moment they enter the website.

Flexible:
Accountably should provide different views of the to-dos. You should be able to make your own views with great flexibility.

Motivating to use:
Accountably should provide the user with a sense of satisfaction and a need to come back.

Big picture:
It is important to track what we are doing. Often times we get lost in our to-dos without thinking much about how it connects to the big picture. With Accountably, I want to solve that problem.

If you are interested, please follow my journey on Twitter. I post updates on the project every day. My handle is mj_makes.

The waitlist is now open at https://accountably.net. Please join if this is something that would be useful for you.

If you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback, please let me know.

Cheers!
