Hi everyone,
I'm currently working on a web-based terminal called Squid, built with Electron, VueJS, and TypeScript.
I would like to get some feedback about the README, and the code in general. It's one of my first open-source project, so I don't know a lot about this amazing world.
Here's the link of the repository if you have time to take a look and give me some feedback: https://github.com/QuiiBz/squid
Thanks in advance
I think the README page seems good - I feel like what it could use is a mission statement of sorts. e.g. why you're making it, why people should use it, and why it's "A terminal for everyone".
I'm guessing you're familiar with hyper as well? https://github.com/vercel/hyper I think if you're building Squid in reaction to hyper, especially if you're trying to improve on it or take a different approach in some way, then some thoughts about that would be nice as well. I used hyper for a little while, and I thought it was pretty nice, but I'm not really sure what Squid is doing differently (if anything).
Other than that, the project looks nice! Best of luck building it out
Hi,
Thanks a lot for your feedback, I totally agree with you.
There are plenty of issues with Hyper, but the biggest is that nobody is working on the project (take a look at the issues).
