    Is a mess.

I tried to scroll, it was buggy...so I went.

Ahh cool, will see how to optimize that.

From a purely technical & creative perspective, I think you did a great job.

However, from a functional & business perspective, I'm not sure this helps you.

I made a short video about why animations should be avoided (especially scroll animations.)

You can watch that here: https://twitter.com/YS/status/1283433900530950146

Your video makes sense, and I agree with you. But animations, like any design tool, should be used wisely. For example, lotties are great in smartwatch applications. Also, instead of hero image, one can use an animation and the weight will be the same.

Just saw your video and totally make sense, the thing that I implemented was more of an experiment to be able to share a story where one by one things reveal with a handwritten animation. I mean that was the idea mostly. But noted your point will keep that in mind on further updates!

Hey, this makes a lot of sense, I will remove all my animations today, haha. Thank you!

I scrolled through the landing page quickly a couple times, but i'm not sure what the site is advertising. I'm not sure if it's a product or a consulting agency maybe? I just looked again at the images on the right and it looks like Olvy is some sort of dashboard that I buy to help me with product releases.

The animation is dope and fun to play with but i don't think it will drive conversions.

Oh that some valuable feedback for sure and I appreciate it, we will be updating the website one by one. But for now just to have it live and we also wanted to experiment a storytelling concept we thought let's this out!! But ya totally make sense and we will keep updating our website with more info we are on it.

First of all, I am glad that you liked it!! Yea I think I have got feedback on another forum as well, let's see how I come up with some better update with that animation or maybe implement something else.
