Don't know how to say this while not sounding narcissistic, apparently you can follow yourself. 🤷🏼♀️
Follower count increases and you will also receive a notification. Not sure if it's a bug or not?

Just noticed the follow button on my profile and clicked it out of curiosity, I too am now following myself, lol. Glad I searched before making my own post about it. I wonder if I'll get notifications for my own activity?
