Indie Worldwide Updates

We're making some changes this week over at Indie Worldwide to improve our online meetups and guest Q&A's.

If you haven't heard of us before, Indie Worldwide is an online meetup group for Indie Hackers. We meet once a month and also invite successful Indie Hackers to come to the meetups and do AMA style interviews.

If you haven't checked out one of our meetups before, the next one is tomorrow and it's free:

So as for updates, first of all we're splitting Q&A's and meetups into two separate form factors.

The meetups will continue to be hosted on Hopin with a mix of 1-on-1's and round-tables, but will no longer be recorded. We want people to come in person and to share openly.

Meanwhile, we're moving the Q&A's to a dedicated podcasting platform, Riverside.fm, for higher quality audio and video recording. Many of these Q&A's will be live-streamed so we'll still be able to take audience questions and even have people call in on the fly.

Q&A's are also going to be happening more often, way more often. We'll have a new guest on every week from now on. The first in this new series is scheduled for Thursday with @philipithomas, the founder of Moonlight ($55,000/month, exited) and we'll be sharing details about how to join on the day-of.

See you there 🌎🌍🌏

Thursday will be my first time using it, will review after, but so far it seems like it's everything I need.
