If you are anything like me, you also basically never print your digital pictures. So, after years of feeling bad about it, I finally printed some of my most beloved memories in an instant-like format and I was so happy with the result that thought to myself "why not creating a webapp so others can do the same?". That is the motivation and how I came up with the idea of Instanto.app, a website that allows users to turn their digital pictures into instant-like ready to print photographs, without having the need to buy expensive instant photography camera and films.
I know this product will not ever make me a millionaire, but not every product have to revolve about making tons of money. I learned so much while building the v1.0 of the product years back and I sincerely hope it could be a good excuse for others to print some pictures and remember how holding an actual photograph feels like in the digital era.
Now that Coronavirus restrictions start to loosen in most places, and people can finally travel and create new memories, I thought it would be good timing to relaunch it. This new version offers a very much improved performance and user experience (especially on mobile), plus the filters look better than ever.
