iOS users become advertisers' biggest fear

    There's so much mixed opinion around iOS 14.5 update and Facebook that I have still not decided to run ads for ruttl. Earlier I had everything planned out but these changes have got me thinking on whether it might be a right decision to run ads or not.

    I don't know whether this will be a game changer but it will surely regulate a lot of things in online advertising industry. Advertisers will need to know their audience much better than before (when could just rely on the algorithms to reach the right audience)

    But as usual, I think we might see some way around/solution to this challenge as well. Ultimately, online advertising is here to stay and it will just keep getting better over the period of time I think.

      No, I do not work for Facebook Ads.

      I have mixed thoughts on them, though. I have found some really interesting products because of them but I still feel a little creeped out.

    Apple has foreshadowed this move for at least 3 years and given all advertisers / platforms plenty of time to adjust.

    This is a great move for humans... obviously bad for the data-sharing economy.

    The best advertisers are finding owned audiences and have started to adjust at least 12 months ago.

    Advertisers who were highly dependent on FB marketing were already seeing prices go up as returns weaken.

    I believe this is great news all around. Just my opinion.
