2020 changed a lot. Some economies have boomed while others not so much. Could education see a big change coming? I think so. Here's what I predict:
More schools will adopt a hybrid-online format, offering more remote learning opportunities to students.
Remote learning will make education more inclusive and more affordable.
Homeschooling will become more popular. Co-ops and homeschool related organizations will increase.
Enrollment in private schools and colleges will increase significantly.
We'll see an increase in the number of independent and extra-curricular educational businesses and nonprofits.
The move toward private and remote learning will result in an increased demand for teachers and educational content.
Education will become more decentralized.
What do you think about my predictions and the new opportunities it creates for edtech?
Digital Ecosystem is changing education sector. Many universities starts online degree courses & programs. Startups changing the way of learning new skills & getting jobs anywhere in the world.
I think, it is a big transformation in world's Education.
Absolutely! The creator economy is changing the education sector. Online degrees are catching on. Great opportunity here
It's rather bold to say that anything can be changed forever, you know. With the pandemic situation in the last 2 years, it's clearly that remote education is the most optimal way for students to receive knowledge. You can't shut down the entire education system just because of that. Some university https://iunajaf.edu.iq/en/ have been offering both remote and normal programms. There're even some programms where you can choose which disciplines to study remote. I would say that education is evolving, not changing.
I agree and I like that way you put it: education is evolving
