Many applications use QR - payments, information sharing, authentication, etc. I think it is not about the technology itself, but about solving customer problems and pains.
cheers for that @maximthomas. yeah I've created a qr code management dashboard that lets businesses setup codes to point at any website, pdf document, etc. The possibilities are big. But now we're all locked down it's hard to convince real-world businesses that they need them.
I'm wondering if it's a lost cause. And if not, if I need to pivot to make it useful for a specific purpose rather than a "point qr codes at anything". But what is that one golden application for them...?
@steveprocter, from my point of view, I see quick access to documents, signing documents and quick payments. But that's just an opinion. You need to talk to your clients, and make sure if they are willing to pay for your services.
