"It takes more than money" - Inspiring quote from a case study

Here's an inspiring quote from the founder of malincho.com I pulled from a case study (which I sadly can't post here for copyright reasons). I'm sure if you google it you can find a copy.

I know that a small business can go down for three reasons. First, if you give up, that’s it. You have to refuse to give up. The second big reason is the money. If you don’t have the cash flow to pay your bills, you die. But the most important thing is you. Because if you believe in something, and you can find other people who believe in the same thing, you’re going to be able to do it, no
matter what.

Same with money, it doesn't bring happiness or fulfillness. You have to provide value to feel good. Otherwise we should all become scammers.

Strongly disagree with this. I don't know if you've ever been struggling with money, but I have. And I can safely say from my experience that not having to worry about it brings me happiness. That dosen't mean I want to own a porsche or a yacht in the Bahamas, but there's one thing less to worry about.

There is still a big difference, scammers NEVER make a consistent income. It's always from one trick to the next. And most scammers I've encountered did do it out of greed, they did it to survive (as most of them are from poorer countries).

I can turn my phone off for a week without a problem, ignore my inbox for month.

That's great, but can you survive of what you're making while that inbox is untouched?
