Join our volunteer-led program that helps Service Industry workers transition into tech during COVID-19 (mentors also wanted)

Hi everyone!

I know we’ve all been trying our best to give back during the COVID-19 crisis. My long-time college friend and I are starting up a volunteer-based program for people who have lost their Service Industry jobs (ie. Hospitality, Education, Retail) seek ways to integrate into Tech.

Working in the Service Industry requires a customer-centric mindset, strong communication skills, and an ability to stay calm under pressure. These skill sets are transferable and valuable to the Customer Success or Sales roles in Tech. With the volunteer-led advisory program, we will help Service Industry job seekers fix their resumes and give them overall advice on how to transition into Tech.
