Last night I went to Answer The Public and figured out what people seem to search for in regards to Docker, made an article on "why Docker is used" in 2020 based on it, and published it today.
The primary purpose is to answer the question, but the "hidden agenda" is to try to create awareness of my product, and increase the SEO value of my site.

I know almost nothing of SEO (and writing actually), so it would be awesome with some feedback from people who does:
One thing to consider for SEO (and if I'm reading it right, you're not doing this): you would benefit the most if you first publish your articles on your own site, then a few days later publish to Medium.
Be sure to set a canonical link on Medium: in Story Settings > SEO Settings > Advanced Settings (near the bottom), check the box "This story was originally published elsewhere" and provide the original link to your own site.
This will ensure that the Google Juice flows more freely to you on your own site.
This is great advice - thank you!
I think using Medium for posts like these are actually a really good strategy for directing traffic to your website. Especially the banner with your logo to your website is nice, it attracts ones attention.
Making it scannable as you did is a good practice especially on Medium. A lot of people just scan quickly through articles to see if it's interesting and if it is they'll read on. I think the length of the article is good as well. I aim to write a post around a reading time of 5 minutes. I think fewer people will finish an article that's longer than 5 minutes.
If you want to make sure you're writing properly English, I'd suggest using Grammarly (I'm using it while typing this as well). It corrects wrong grammar and helps you insert commas ;-)
As a developer, I also liked the article! I have used Docker at a minimum and understood some of the advantages (especially the 'it worked on my computer🥺'), but you gave me some new advantages that I was not aware of. Thanks for that!
If you want to attract the attention of your reading even more towards your website you might wanna make the Kubernetes logo a little bit smaller so that your logo stands out even more.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! That was very nice of you!
Grammarly was great! I just used it to correct quite a few errors.
As for the logo, I originally wanted to seem "fair" to the user (offering objective alternatives than my own), but you may be right here. I removed the logo entirely.
