Landing page feedback

Hi all, the IH community has been very helpful since the beginning of our journey. I would like to ask for another favor - a landing page review!

Background: We are a startup that provides tax documents for traders. Since it's a cryptocurrency trading - it could be pretty annoying with thousands of possible combinations and sources that don't provide tax documents like traditional trading platforms.

Recently, we have updated our landing page - a good amount of reorganization, updated copy & messaging, classifying information for traders vs accountants. Also, based on customer questions and feedback, we have also included information that is readily available on our website.

I will stop here to avoid putting thoughts into your mind. We love honest feedback and happy to provide any other information you would like to know.

I think it's sexy as sh*t. Most of the time when hackers ask for landing page info it's pretty bad. Of course everyone could always improve, but this is great. I skipped your background info on purpose to see how effective the page was and knew exactly what you did without having to come back to this post. That's a win in my book.

Unrelated: I don't trade crypto but this seems awesome. Best of luck!

Thanks @ryansneddon for the feedback! Glad the page was able to convey what it is meant for.

Haha! Sexy is the right word.
I would be embarrassed if you saw my landing page.

Come on. Now you gotta send me the link

          Okay, you were warned.
          Here it is: https://gettrendytags.com
Actually would love feedback. Even if it’s “start over” haha

Thanks @Weberstephen. GetTrendyTags is awesome and the first thing that caught my mind and you might not figure out is a tag that's a regional movie #pspk29 :) Good to see the realtime capture of events and suggesting them for entrepreneurs to target or customize their campaigns. Good luck with it.

Hi. I suck. Sorry this took me two weeks. I don't hate your page. I do wonder though why "Hashtag Recommender" takes me back to the same landing page. Covid section is gold btw. Honestly I like the page.

            1. 1

What do you think the COVID page could be used for? What would you use it for?

              1. 1

I was saying the COVID section is really good.

I loved the idea of adding the email to unlock the content.
But I really miss some other place that we can sign up. Imagine that the first tags already made me want to sign up, where do I put my email now? In the same unlock input?

And I was about to suggest to add some benefits and how it works, but I found the about page after a while. I think that it would be better on the home page.

              Great feedback!
Maybe I should just put a block in the grid that is for email signups. I was perhaps too aggressive on getting their email because I am using it to measure interest.

I'll try to put some more from the about page in the homepage. My thinking was let the data draw them in, but that might have been a mistake.

Yes, a clear CTA vs the show me buttons will classify the intent - and you can also have button events to capture the curiosity vs the willingness to get more such tags long term.

Your landing page is very good! Makes mine look very inferior. Did you customize the bootstrap theme yourself?

A small nitpick, not sure if this is intentional, but your pricing page seems different from other pages. The background for the hero section and FAQ are different. For example FAQ on index.html is on dark background, but on pricing page it's on light.

There are a few errors in the copy, maybe double check that, otherwise everything in the page looks good!

Thanks, @orliesaurus. Will go through the copy once again. Let us know if something obvious caught your eye.

I can't look at this page any longer. It makes me too insecure. Dam sexy, and the value proposition is clear

@Joesdev, it is a constant reiteration over a period of more than 18 months. Constant listening to customer feedback, looking at analytics trends, learning SEO, and application of those learnings along with suggestions from lead generation experts. So, it is definitely not the first draft, but a better version - still improving and any kind of feedback helps. Glad the value proposition is clearly understandable.

    Vamshi,
Honestly I love your landing page. It’s ultra clear what you are offering. Love how you show the connections you support and what it gives people.
It looks like you are also trying to educate people that this is necessary. That is always a tough thing to do and I think what you are doing is a great effort on that.
I wonder if a video could educate more about the need and maybe how it works a bit?

    1. 2

Video suggestion is something on our mind. You'll see more walkthrough guides on the platform - but definitely, a demonstration of how easy it is to get things done will help customers boost their confidence and make them give it a try. I Will keep you posted and credit goes to you when the video comes on our landing page. Thanks again.
