Landing page feedback

Dear indie hackers,
I was wondering if you'd like to help me with some feedback for my product's landing page https://pazly.dev

The page is not receiving many views (less than 50 hits/day - in the good days) and I was wondering how did you scale up your user base. Is there some big mistake I made that make people not go through the page?

Overall, it's great. Bit and pieces that could be improved through A/B test.

To answer your question : "how did you scale up your user base?".

Why don't you try to reduce drastically your targeted audience?

    E.g. :

The easiest website builder for violinist.

Drag and drop components and build beautiful responsive websites that resonate with your fan base. Use Pazly to add custom text and images of your last concerts.

    • an image of a violon and computer or whatever could be great in this example 😄

Merge that with the good insights from @kavir video and then, you duplicate to infinity and beyond 🙌🏻

A/B testing a great idea. Thanks. I plan to target web building efficiency rather that filling a (lack of) knowledge gap. So maybe targeting parents during their maternity/paternity would be a good and narrow enough niche. Thanks for your feedback.

Hey there. I recorded a Loom video to give you feedback on your website.

These were my first impressions. Hope this helps!

Thank you very much for your feedback. It is very helpful. I will take into account everything you said. Thanks a lot for your help!

  3. 3

I would put less text on the first screen. And replaced the main image with something less detailed. Good luck!

Based on the value proposition you offer, I would highlight what is different from other page builders.

Probably the easiest website builder you've used

It seems like you're trying to target people that have already taken the time to learn how to use Wix or Squarespace, which to me isn't really going to be a good customer b/c unless their is a specific pain point you're addressing other than it being "easier", they have already put the time in to learn the other tools.

    Maybe something like:

    • Fast and simple website builder
    • We do what {wix|squaresspace} can't

"Tailwind CSS" I am like 99% sure that most people that use squarespace/shopify/wix have no idea what Tailwind CSS is.

    Download your awesome new website.
Who is your target customer here? This seems like a really weird thing to say if you're trying to target people that use other website builders (like Squarespace) that also offer hosting.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, the value proposition is a bit ambiguous. I think pazly is a 'speed up your web dev process' tool rather than a 'no skills needed' platform. As you very well said, this is missing from the website at this point.

I do not target the wix/squarespace market because I cannot offer at this point any hosting for the websites. This might happen in the future when pazly generates enough revenue to sustain a secure web hosting feature.

I like the landing, really nice, clean, and designed very well.

I would add use cases and demo websites built with your app.

When I tried the builder itself, it looked pretty messy - when I added a complicated component, it's not easy to figure out on the right pane which settings is about which part of the component, I was able to do it only when I clicked the part.

When I read 'TRY FOR FREE' I somehow assumed I'll have to pay later. Since your product is essentially free, you could communicate that a little bit better, maybe by being literal and saying Pazly is FREE :) You can change that at any point later.

At this point, I haven't seen much of your product or anything that would convince me not to go with Wix or Webflow. Header image is too zoomed out and not clear.
Maybe introduce more screenshots of what your product can do?

As A developer, I'm thinking if I should invest my time in learning to use your product or focus on some more robust solutions(like the two mentioned above). Some testimonial quotes could help.

I was impressed by the demo, especially if you are building it all alone :)

  8. 2

Your landing page simple and clean :) Maybe when I hover a button, you can a good hover effect.

How about getting rid of the producthunt?

This text can be removed without losing anything
"A perfect tool for your client's first impression. Nowadays working remote means sharing screens, showing and telling."

For pricing it's nice to know how the long term looks..

Put the design image above the fold for mobile

    Contact goes to upcoming developments?

App on mobile the top looks broken

Thanks a lot. This is something I can work with.

Thank you all for your very useful feedback! I made some changes to the website based on your remarks. It looks considerably better. Check it out at https://pazly.dev/
