Landing page for my future book

Hi IH community!

Last month I started writing a book about web performance optimization. "Web Performance recipes".
IH Product page

I wanted to grab some attention and get some "interested" emails. I launched this landing page https://webperformance.recipes last Monday and I shared about it on Twitter /LinkedIn.

Until now I got 100 email subscriptions and many positive messages!

How do you find the landing page?
Your thoughts about the strategy?

Thank you

Design-wise, I think there are better fonts to use definitely. Agree with Gary on the extract part as well.

      Thank you @zerotousers!
I changed to Roboto, foreground/background contrast.
And published the first blog post https://webperformance.recipes/resources/largest-contentful-paint-measure-and-optimize/

Is it possible to give potential readers some kind of extract to read? This way they will quickly understand if the book is for them.

Brilliant idea Gary! Should be an extract of a chapter or the preface..?
I'll also add a section detailing for who is the book by roles. "If you are a developer, this book will help you dive into advanced technical optimizations", "Product Owner? It will help you better understand the performance issues, discuss them with developers and make them simpler"...etc

Don't hold back, give them something of value. I would give an extract from a chapter. You want the reader to think 'I want more of this'!

Take a look at the 'see inside' section of Amazon. This allows readers to look at the opening chapter of the book.

I love the idea of roles.

For example, are you touching on super technical aspects of different platforms or will it be more generalized advice?

It is really important that you have a very clear target market. For example, I am a self-taught ruby developer would it be helpful to me, if so, how?
