Launched my 2nd SaaS!

I’ve just launched IndexCheckr.com. An SEO tool to check if pages are indexed by Google.

It took me 2 months of work. I developed the most critical part of the app, designed the landing pages, and had the other parts developed by a dev shop. It was hard to let go of some of the devs but this saved me a lot of time and was a good decision.

The tool is a little bit more than an MVP. I could have launched sooner. But the design is still pretty ugly and I’m glad I followed the general advice by launching it as it is.

One customer already paid me even before the app was launched. That was good validation.

I’ll give 500 credits to anyone in the community interested in using the tool.
If you’ve done some SEO, you probably know that a page that is not indexed has no value. It’s worth checking that your pages are indexed. Or check the pages where you want to place a backlink.

Any feedback is highly appreciated.

Good luck for the product Francois

Are you thinking of adding other details - like search rank, or suggested keywords - to the results?

Currently I use AccuRanker, which is ok, but it doesn't provide suggestions on how to expand my site, which is a big gap for me.

My initial reaction on pricing is that credits make it hard to figure out how much money the service costs for my site. I'd have to do the math myself ($xx per scan, $yy per credit, zz scans a day....)

I think you'd do better with recurring monthly plans with tiers, also I don't think it's technically SaaS if you sell credits right? (because it's not recurring).

Good luck with the service! SEO is a crowded space

      Thanks for the feedback.

There's already quite a lot to do to improve the tool just around that one service, so for now I'll focus on that.

If you go to your profile, you'll see how many credits you spend per month and how long this will last.

Prepaid credit is one SaaS model, albeit not the most common. I'll introduce subscriptions later on if scheduled checks are popular.
