Launched my growth hacking tool on ProductHunt: First results!

Hi everyone, I've launched my collaborative tool for growth hacking teams on ProductHunt this week. I have built it without coding skills as a side project. Thought it might be interesting to share some results from this launch.

What I got:

I Wasn't expecting anything from this launch, so I'm quite happy with the results. What are your thoughts or experiences with ProductHunt?

Feel free to send me some feedback on the product (www.sprintmapp.com). 🙏

    Neat!

Question: how does a growth hack for a growth hacking tool look like?

    1. 1

There's not one growth hack for this, a shitload of growth experiments will teach me which tactics are working best to grow my user list, convert them into clients and how to retain them.

This is a great idea! I was just wondering if it would make sense to integrate with an analytics provider to show the performance metrics of each experiment in the same place?

Hi @harshit_j23, thank you for your feedback. I'll definitely look into that!

I've done 2 ProductHunt launches (zero-prep) with my hackathon projects, just to see what happened. Both were for fun / not super serious.

With similar pre-launch prep and no marketing, there's a pretty large randomness component to PH success. Prep + audience well before launch would likely mitigate some the random factor.

Hi @Overmind, thank you for sharing your experiences. Prepping is definitely important for a good launch on PH, I just did this one without preparation to see what would happen. It gave me some interesting insights for my next launch!
