Launched my MVP built on Bubble

I'm happy to announce that I've recently launched the MVP for https://musicbeaver.app, a tool for musicians and songwriters to organize their music ideas. The inspiration for the idea came from a problem that I have on keeping my music ideas organized.

Since joining Indie Hackers in late August I had been thinking about ideas and how I could jump into building something. But I kept hitting a roadblock of trying to find the "perfect" idea.

In November I came across @mubashariqbal "One Hour SaaS" series. Watching his videos inspired me to set a goal and jump in. No more waiting for the perfect idea!

My primary goal was to build and launch a product by the end of 2020. So that I could gain the experience and prove to myself that I could do it. The secondary goal is to grow this product as a source of income.

I am not a developer, and so I committed to learning Bubble in order to build the product. I found the Udemy course and YouTube channel by @gregoryjohn to be an invaluable resource in helping me learn Bubble.

Next step for me is the marketing phase. I also have a long list of feature ideas that I'd like to build, but I'm going to wait to see how the product is received by it's initial users before I start adding more features.

If you have any questions about building on Bubble, let me know!

Hey Andrei, this is great, congratulations and all the best! I'm stuck in a similar loop - i have an idea that I should be quickly building and launching, but I keep spending time trying to perfect it. Also, I have highs and lows with alternating days of motivation and demotivation. Quick question - did you look at other platforms such as, Adalo and Glide as well, and then decide to go with Bubble? Thanks

Hey @manitjain - thanks very much! I actually did not consider/research other no code tools. I was already familiar with the Bubble brand, and from my perspective seemed to be the most robust no code product. I also like that is has a growing community, and a lot of tutorials/courses available for those just starting out. It's also been around since 2015 so the product is quite feature rich and supports many use cases. So ultimately I would recommend it! Good luck to you.

    Well done man, respect!
I was planning to work on something similar. Just didn‘t find the time yet, as i would have developed it from the ground up. Seems pretty impressive what you can do with NoCode Apps.
Though what i have in mind needs some serious dev work. MusicBeaver looks like an awesome starting point though!

I will develop it to scratch my own itch + i see some serious potential there as well. I did „manage“ two artists. I never planned to, somehow i just ended up handling negotiations, strategy, marketing and business for them. I also work with friends who are songwriters and help them in the creative process. So if you want to have some exchange about your app, i would love to help where i can.

Just a warning: i probably will also work on something in that area this year - of course if your app turns out to be perfect for all the needs, i would rather help you out with some dev & strategy work (either way if you‘re interested, hit me up).

Anyways, looks really good so far. Will test it out! You should really be proud of yourself man! 💪

    Cheers

    Congrats on the launch!

Trying to find the "perfect" idea, is what keeps so many people from starting out.

    Best of luck!

After building the app using bubble do we have to pay subscription fee to bubble?

Amazing and well done @flipthatswitch! Its amazing to see more and more doer mentalities like yourself. Congrats on your MVP! I would love to tap into your insights speak interview you for a no-code project I am building myself. Can you commit 30min of your time over the next couple of days?
