Launching an encrypted email service

I had an idea floating around in my head for about a year on sharing data and communicating without central servers. I never liked the idea that all of the data I've accumulated on different services I've used over the years could disappear overnight.

Once COVID hit, I saw how people's lives would be moving more online, and services that gave users control of their data and privacy would be more critical than ever.

In my mind, a new type of email service was the obvious choice due to email still being some of the most insecure forms of communication. To my knowledge, nobody has tried building encrypted email on a peer-to-peer network. I've built startups before, and I always preached building an MVP and getting a product out quickly, but I found an MVP for an email service to be still huge.

I've been working on Telios.io for over a year now, and I'm weeks away from launching. I would love it if I could get some feedback about the business and idea!
