Learnt, built and started my blog in Next.js in less than 7 days

Hey fellow IndieHackers,

My name is Aditya, and I am a Product Manager at WorkIndia - one of India's largest hiring portals.

I had taken upon myself a challenge during Christmas to learn Next.js and build and start my own blog before 2021 ends.

Yesterday, my blog went live for the entire world.
You can check it out here

This is my first baby step towards being an IndieHacker from a IndieLurker.
All feedbacks are welcome.

    Awesome, clean UI :)

I'm also learning NextJS, it's a great framework but the styling part is what's taking up most of my time when developing UI.

If you don't mind me asking, I've seen something similar to this look & feel, did you use a template? or fork from a Github?

    1. 2

Yes. I have used this template, and then tailored it a little to suit my needs.

It is one of the best templates I have come across. You should definitely explore it.

      1. 1

Cool! Will definitely use this on one of our projects. Thanks for sharing!

  2. 1

Looks cool, works fast! Great job!

  3. 1

    How do you promote it?

    1. 1

Currently, I am just sharing this on all my social media platforms.

Once I cross 20+ blog posts, I will start promoting it on other platforms like Reddit and Quora as well.

The second thing I plan to do is - SEO.
