Does anyone have thoughts/experience in launching SaaS service outside the US?
There are usually two ways to go about it:
Create a US subsidiary in the target market. This option may be simple, less legal/account management. However, I believe this may limit options to offer equity in the local entity.
Create a local entity in the target market. This option may require more local presence. However, this may be flexible to bring in local investment (for that region) and options package local to this entity.
Your expertise, guidance is appreciated.
