Let's Discuss SaaS for Education

Hey all — I'm currently working with a friend who has started a business offering software for teachers and their students in high schools.

I know quite a bit about SaaS but not so much about EdTech / SaaS for education, so I'd love to learn more in this field! So I was wondering — who here is active in this field?

I'd love to discuss sales, convincing customers, the importance (or non-importance) of marketing, churn, useful newsletters/blogs about EdTech, etc.

Perhaps a question to start our discussion with: Is it true that many sales cycles are exceptionally long in EdTech, and if so, how do you deal with this?
