There is a difference between pivoting and iterating, particularly after getting some traction. Pivoting is a change to a different product, usually not in the same industry. Iterating is to adjust or change some part of the product but still in the same space. At least that is my opinion.
I am not sure if you are going to get many replies about pivoting. I think for the IH, pivoting to another space without getting some traction just means that the current project is not working and they will start another project.
