1.7 billion people around the world are unbanked, meaning they don't have access to tools like credit and student loans to create a better future for themselves. Everyone should have the opportunity to improve their life, no matter where they live.
The SaveForward app helps socially-conscious millennials to save money and put a portion of their savings toward a microfinance loan. These loans empower underbanked individuals to start a business, expand their farm, or go to school, and ultimately lift themselves out of poverty. SaveForward users get to see the direct difference they make in someone’s life, without going over budget.
SaveForward is backed by the MaRS Start Program and the Metaii Accelerator Program. We used a web platform to develop proof of concept and are starting to build a native app to get to market! Looking for someone to join our team (role depending on skills and experience). Open to interns who are looking to build experience and learn alongside our CTO.
