Looking for the right technical co-founder

Hey!

During life in quarantine I've been connecting more with family and discovered that there's no easy/great way to share family history and media. For example, my aunt has pictures that my dad has never seen of his own father. My dad has home videos that his siblings have never seen. My uncle remembers stories about my grandpa that my dad doesn't remember. Sure, we can create shared drives to share the photos, but then we don't have the context that goes along with the photo.

That said, I'm looking to build a website that helps people record family history and share family media in a private environment. I've got the entire idea planned out, I just don't have the coding skills to bring it to life.

The right candidate would need the applicable skills to bring the product to life as outlined below.

  • A web app with networking features enabling users to create content using a WYSIWYG CMS supporting text and digital media (images/videos). Profiles must allow multiple users with varying profile roles such as owner, contributor, and moderator.
  • A key feature of the site will be the ability to create family trees and link entries to the relevant users.
  • Privacy and security will be critical for the site. From a privacy perspective, users need to be able to set viewing permissions of their own content for other users within their network.
  • The site will also need to support a payment platform/processing for both one time and recurring payments.
